National Board Certified Teachers
Oklahoma has a history of strong support for teachers seeking National Board Certification and ranks 9th in the nation with the most National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs). To date, 3,076 Oklahoma teachers have achieved National Board Certification, accounting for 7 percent of the teaching workforce. Central Elementary is proud to have two National Board Certified Teachers on their faculty. Board certification is the highest mark of professional accomplishment. It allows teachers to hone their practice, showcase their talent in the classroom, and demonstrate their dedication to their students and their profession.
Mrs. Tracy Swarer
Tracy Swarer received National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood/ Generalist in 2008. She teaches 3rd grade at Central Elementary School. Tracy earned her B.S. in elementary education from NSU in Tahlequah.
Ms. Kelli Bogner
Kelli Bogner earned National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist in 2008. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and third grade. Her degrees include a B.A. in Elementary Education from North Central College in Naperville , IL , and a M.Ed from Regent University in Newport Beach , VA. She holds certification in early childhood and elementary education, with middle school endorsements in language arts and social science.
